I believe in the importance of keeping people moving. Growing up in Florida, I was outside as much as I could be. I learned traditional Indian dance, played and taught tennis, and spent a lot of time in the water (I'm a Pisces). After graduating from the University of Florida, I moved to the northeast to get a Masters in Public Health where I was educated on the importance of preventing illness and injury. I decided to be a Foot and Ankle Specialist after I heard the statistics around preventable limb amputations. I wanted to be at the front line...helping people on a day to day basis.
Now much of what I enjoy involves teaching others about their health and wellness whether teaching students at the California School of Podiatric Medicine, or treating my Patients and helping them understand, recover from, and prevent injury.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time in the beautiful Bay Area with my Son and Husband.
